• Way back in high school, I developed quite the fetish for transfer lettering. You know, this stuff. The stuff of a budding typographer's dream. How great it was to have a sheet of little glyphs to burnish on whatever I liked. Throughout art school, I found excuse after excuse to use lettering in any project I could, one of which was a small hand-bound book. Entitled "Gothic," it was a simple graphic narrative made with ink, lettering, and whimsy. Digitized above are the 28 characters from that book. They're sort of my family.
